Lollapalooza

I went to Lollapalooza in Chicago this weekend, and while I have been to plenty of out door concerts, this took it to a whole different level. Did not take the best post pics, because after a monsson downpour I was way more focused on getting in to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers!

But I'll share the pics I did take with you...and I will plan better next year!
Loved my outfit.
Dress & Purse-  MurdyBurdy on Etsy Check it out for some AMAZING vintage clothes | Necklace- Forever21 | Shoes- Target (now covered in mud) | Glasses- Urban Outfitters | Bracelets- vintage

After the rain as the HUGE crowd re-entered Grant Park for the rest of the shows.

Just a little mud.

The Weekend performing, followed by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Peace, love, and America

Boxed water was actually better.
The sky, AFTER the storm

Red Hot Chili Peppers. The only pic I got before my camera died.

Well the next day was gorgeous so we got some shopping in before we left

Goodbye Chicago. See you again soon.

I'll leave you with some wise words from Flea, the insane and amazing bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers as he told us at Lollapalooza,
"Peace and love will prevail. Be kind, be gentle, be nice. F*** s*** up."

Enjoy!

My inner hippie

As I said in my last post, I LOVE Dave Matthews Band..and after the concert this weekend I was still letting my inner hippie out! I got this dress thinking I might wear it to the concert, but since it was about 95 degrees outside I had to pass on the maxi, but it was great for work...with a few workin girl tweaks...

Dress: WALMART(yep, Walmart) | Shoes & Jacket: Target | Tanktop: Forever21 | Purse: Thrifted

I can NEVER find dressed that I can wear without a bra and this one is perfect! I had to add the tanktop and jacket for work...but it works great without!

Definitely still feeling the inner hippie, and loving the freedom I felt in this dress.
