Tips to save the world...

Doing your part to save the earth is a great feeling, and super easy.

 Every effort, no matter how big or small.

So here is my first super easy green tip!

You know all of those individual wrapped candies such as Reese's cups wrapped in foil? Guess what!? You can recycle that foil! Just ball it up and stick it in an aluminum can that you had already planed on recycling.

GREEN is my favorite color

Well, yesterday was EARTH DAY! 

I'll admit I am totally on the Going Green bandwagon. Last week I helped with the "Green Starts Here" activities at Deaconess Hospital (where I work).

Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke came out to help the pre-schoolers plant trees.

I helped too!

We walked all around the Hospital campus picking up a crazy amount of trash!

(It really did amaze me how many people just leave trash sitting in their front yards and don't even care how horrible and gross it looks. Not to mention its bad for the environment!)
